You do not need to have a medical background to qualify for this opportunity. We depart with a minimum of two people. On this humanitarian trip, you come face to face with the pure African culture, experience their ways of life, learn from them, but most important touch their lives with much needed medical assistance.

BEACH and COASTAL EXPERIENCE
The startling contrasts of landscape and the outstanding natural beauty of Kenya must be seen to be believed. Along the coast, long stretches of white sandy beaches are lapped by crystal clear, turquoise waters protected by the coral reef, which runs almost the entire length of the coast. The coastline of Kenya is a tropical idyll of soft white sands and gentle sea breeze. The pace of life on the coast is notably slower, languid, more relaxed and at peace with the world. Anticipated Kenyan coastal activities include scuba diving, big game fishing, jet skiing, wind surfing, beach parachuting, swimming with dolphins, coral garden snorkeling and more. Immerse yourself in a unique coastal culture as rich and rewarding as the local Swahili cuisine. Most of the resorts and hotels ranged along the beaches offer a wide range of water sporting, water-skiing, sailing and much more can all be arranged.

A range of boats are available for hire to explore the coast, a good place being Shimoni for scuba diving and snorkeling. Some of the best sites are centered around Kisite Mpunguti Marine Reserve.

Known to Kenyans as the blue region and described as hospitable, warm and thrilling by visitors. The coastal belt is split into to three zones all with sparkling features:

MOMBASA “RAHA”
Relax while enjoying and exploring the underwater marine world. A selection of excellent hotels, warm soft beaches and enabling environment and home to ancient histories and historic sites of Fort Jesus and the Gede Ruins as well as Kenya’s biggest sea port.

MALINDI and WATAMU
Watamu boasts the Marine National Park, while Malindi takes prides in beautiful beaches and world class resorts and bars. This area is a home away from home for many visitors to Kenya.

LAMU ISLANDS
A beautiful and most tranquil and romantic setting. Outstanding natural beauty, the clearest of water combined with the fascinating history of an ancient city.

Village Life Safari can assist you in designing your own unique beach and coastal experience. Let us know what you are interested in, how long you want to stay and let us put together an itinerary to suit you.
