This is purely a humanitarian trip. There are no excursions to the parks, beaches, mountains, etc. This trip is designed for those keen on medical or public health missions in Kenya. However, you will be free to request for other extras like the wildlife safari for after the medical camp trip.

DAY ONE: Travel from NAIROBI to BUSIA
We depart our Nairobi hotel in the morning, destination Busia. We enjoy lunch en route and attractions along the way, arriving at our Busia hotel by mid-afternoon. The evening is spent at leisure, dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY TWO and THREE: BUYOFU
Our first medical camp set up is in one of Busia’s poorest areas, Buyofu. We pitch the camp at Buyofu Baptist Church from 9:45 am to 4:30 pm (9:30 am – 4:45 pm on day three). We return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay each evening.

DAY FOUR and FIVE: IGARA
After breakfast we depart to Igara, north of Busia. This is a remote village with many challenges. The camp here will be open 9:45 am to 4:45 pm (9:30 am – 4:45 pm on day five). Dinner and overnight at our hotel each evening.

DAY SIX and SEVEN: MALANGA
Malanga lies to the southeast of Busia. Our camp will be open 9:45 am to 4:45 pm (9:30 am – 4:45 pm on day seven) at Malanga primary school. Dinner and overnight at our hotel back in Busia.

DAY EIGHT and NINE: MATAYOS
We depart our hotel after breakfast for Matayos, which is located on the main Busia-Kisumu highway. The camp will run 9:45  am to 4:45 pm (9:30 am – 4:30 pm on day nine). Dinner and overnight at our hotel back in Busia.

DAY TEN: Travel from BUSIA to NAIROBI
If you would like to extend your stay with a beach holiday or any other African experience, we will be happy to organize this for you.

DAY ONE: Travel from NAIROBI to NAIVASHA
On arrival at Nairobi, you will be transferred to the New Stanley Hotel where you will have breakfast and a briefing before leaving for Upper Hill Camp in Nairobi. We will leave in the evening for Naivasha Fisherman Camp.

DAY TWO: NAIVASHA FISHERMAN CAMP
After spending the evening at Fisherman’s Camp, we’ll begin the day with a morning trek and boat ride to Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha. This is a popular place for shooting movies. (”Out of Africa” was shot on location here.) In the late afternoon we’ll head to Flamingo Camp in Nakuru, arriving in time for dinner.

DAY THREE: FLAMINGO CAMP at LAKE NAKURU
Welcome to the home of great flamingo. Activities will include wildlife and birds watching. Transfer in the late afternoon for Lake Baringo Tented Camp.

DAY FOUR: LAKE BARINGO TENTED CAMP
This modern camp is adjacent to the rare Rift Valley Fresh Water Lake with 450 bird species for viewing. You can also enjoy the battling hippo field and numerous crocodiles.

DAY FIVE: LAKE BARINGO
After breakfast, the journey to explore Lake Baringo’s ecosystem begins. We will leave after lunch for the coveted Maasai Mara camp, arriving for dinner.

DAY SIX: BIG TIME CAMP in the MAASAI MARA
Your day to explore nature and the greatest wildlife on the planet earth begins after breakfast.

DAY SEVEN: Travel from MAASAI to NAIROBI
After breakfast visit a Maasai village and learn about their wonderful culture. Prepare to leave in the afternoon for Nairobi.

WHAT TO BRING: Items of personal nature like enough clothes for hot and cold weather, shower gels, enough films and memory cards for your camera, money for personal expenditures such as drinks and buying of souvenirs.

A range of boats are available for hire to explore the coast, a good place being Shimoni for scuba diving and snorkeling. Some of the best sites are centered around Kisite Mpunguti Marine Reserve.

Known to Kenyans as the blue region and described as hospitable, warm and thrilling by visitors. The coastal belt is split into to three zones all with sparkling features:

MOMBASA “RAHA”

DAY TWO: LAKE BARINGO full day
Full day in Lake Baringo. All meals at your campsite, Roberts Camp, as you prepare for birds walks towards Kambi ya Samaki. Retire back to the camp.

DAY THREE:  Travel to LAKE NAKURU PARK
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. You’ll be staying at Naishi House Banda, a self-catering cottage with lovely fire place, sitting room and full kitchen. Take a walk or drive to enjoy the full ecosystem.

DAY FOUR: Travel to MT. KENYA through NAIROBI
Head for Mt. Kenya through Limuru and enjoy lunch at lavish Safari Park Hotel. Going through Thika, you can see how coffee is grown, before arriving at Serena Lodge in the located the slopes of Mt. Kenya. Enjoy the evening night watch of game animals from your hotel room.

DAY FIVE:  MT. KENYA PARK
After morning breakfast, set out for a host of activities: skiing, mountaineering, culture lesson on the Kikuyu god “NGAI” believed to be staying in the Mountain and more. Retire to your lodge in the evening.

DAY SIX: Travel to NAIROBI
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving just on time for lunch before you depart for the airport or your next Kenyan adventure.

Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi International Airport where you are met by our smiling representative, who will transfer you to your hotel. You will receive a short briefing about the journey ahead of you as well as an updated itinerary. Overnight at the Stanley Hotel or equivalent. (B&B)

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
This morning after breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel foyer. Drive to Amboseli National Park and the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro. Home to the proud and brightly painted Masai tribe, the acacia woodlands and grasslands of the park shelter an abundance of game including buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest. A game drive follows a lunch in the park. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.(BLD)

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park.Amboseli was established as a reserve in 1968 and gazetted as a National Park in 1974. The Park covers 392 km2, and forms part of the much larger 3,000 Km2 Amboseli ecosystem, renowned for its flat plains and abundance of game. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge. (BLD)

Day 4: Lake Nakuru
Depart early and drive to Lake Nakuru Lodge situated on the shores of Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Afterwards, take an afternoon game drive along the shore where you may spot the elusive leopard, the recently introduced Rotschild’s giraffe and many species of birds. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Days 5 & 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve
On Day 5, drive across the Great Rift Valley to reach Kenya’s most famous Game Reserve, Masai Mara, where you will stay for next two nights. Spend the days exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-maned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals. Overnights at Mara Serena Lodge.(BLD)

Day 7: Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast return to Nairobi. Lunch is served at the famous Carnivore Restaurant where all kinds of game meat – roasted on great spits right in front of you – can be enjoyed. The restaurant also caters to vegetarians with a vast array of delectable dishes and salads Transfer to the airport afterwards to catch your outbound flight. In the event of a late evening flight, an optional day room can be reserved for you to relax and freshen up before you transfer to the airport.

DAY FOUR: Travel toMAASAI MARA RESERVE
In the morning, after breakfast, journeyto Maasai Mara Game Reserve in time to catch with lunch at Sarova Mara lodge. After lunch, relax before afternoon game drive in the park.

DAY FIVE: MAASAI MARA RESERVE
Spend the whole day in Maasai Mara. Morning and afternoon game drives available. Meals and overnight stay at the Sarova Mara Lodge.

DAY SIX: Travel to NAIROBI
After an early morning breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving for lunch. Transfer to the airport.

DAY ONE : NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.

This morning we depart by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park , home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephants . After lunch , we proceed for an afternoon game drive . In addition to elephants , antelope , zebra , wildebeest , buffalo and the rare black rhino . Nealy every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance .

DAY TWO : EXPLORE AMBOSELI

Rising early for good view of Mt. Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit , we set off for another game drive .Attractions today include Elephants , Girrafe , lion and many other plain games . Optional visit to the Maasai Village is planned after the breakfast .Maasai worriors are known as the proud nomadic tribe  whole legendary prowess in battled and single – handed acts of bravery are known across the world . A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals . Lunch at mid day , afternoon rest ,extensive evening game drive .

DAY  THREE: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast , we depart Amboseli forAberdare  through the extensive coffee farm of the Central highlands . Lunch at the Outspan Lodge . Evening game drive .Attractions include the forest hog , bush pig , tree hyrax large spotted genet and the elusive bongo .

DAY FOUR : ABERDARE -LAKE NAKURU NP.

Today after breakfast , we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley . We arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time forLunch .The game in this park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching  will make  a devotee out of even the most reluctant .The park  is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos , which literally turn the lakeshores into a beautiful pink strech . The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird species exist here . It is also one of the very few places in Africa you will see the rare White Rhinos and Rothschild Girrafe .
